During the inspection, Chancellor Dr. Kam instructed Architect Missionary Jong Gil Kim and Head of General Affairs Hyun Seok Kim to expedite the renovation of the aging dormitories and requested that the guesthouse remodeling be optimized to accommodate short-term mission teams from Korea more comfortably. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of improving student welfare facilities, urging for continuous management and maintenance efforts to create a more comfortable living environment on campus. Even in the final hours before his departure for Korea, Chancellor Dr. Kam remained dedicated to the advancement of UAUT and UATC, attending multiple high-level meetings. Facilitated by Dr. Obeid, the Eastern Regional Director of the Tanzanian National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET), Chancellor Kam, along with Vice President Do Young Kim, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sung Soo Kim visited the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT). During the visit, the Dean of the DIT School of Engineering provided an in-depth briefing on the DIT’s history and current status, expressing a strong commitment to collaborating with UATC for its future growth and development.
