Programme Overview

About this programme

The Diploma in Accounting and Finance is a two-year programme that develops practical competencies in accounting, finance, taxation, auditing, banking, and financial management. Students progress from principles of accounting, finance, cost accounting, public finance, and taxation to more advanced areas such as financial accounting, financial management, microfinance, financial markets and institutions, auditing practice, and business information systems.

The programme combines technical accounting knowledge with ICT, management, business law, entrepreneurship, and research skills to prepare graduates for accounting and finance responsibilities in public, private, and entrepreneurial organizations.

Entry Requirements

  1. Form VI/ACSEE with at least one Principal Pass and one Subsidiary Pass; OR
  2. NTA Level 4 in Accounting and Finance or an equivalent qualification.

Students must successfully complete NTA Level 5 in Accounting and Finance before progressing to NTA Level 6.

Eligible new students joining NTA Level 5 in the September 2026 intake receive a promotional discount equivalent to 50% of first-semester tuition and 50% of the applicable direct fee.
