Spiritual Life at UATC

Growing in knowledge, character, faith, and service.

United African Technical College is a Christian higher education institution where academic and professional development is complemented by character formation and spiritual growth.

We believe education should prepare the whole person. Students are encouraged to grow intellectually, professionally, emotionally, and spiritually while developing values that guide responsible leadership, ethical decision-making, and service to others. This holistic philosophy is also reflected in UATC's Principal's message.

Faith at the Center of Campus Life

Spiritual life provides students and staff with opportunities to reflect on Christian values and their application to everyday life, education, leadership, relationships, and professional practice.

Through worship, prayer, biblical reflection, and fellowship, members of the campus community are encouraged to develop a deeper understanding of faith and Christian responsibility.

Chapel & Worship

The shared Christian campus community provides opportunities for chapel services, worship, prayer, and fellowship.

UAUT's Chaplaincy, operating within the same campus environment, describes its role as fostering spiritual growth, moral integrity, and a Christ-centered academic environment while providing prayer and spiritual guidance.

Spiritual Guidance & Mentorship

Students may seek guidance when facing personal, spiritual, or academic challenges. Lecturers, tutors, and members of the Christian community also contribute to student mentorship and character formation.

UATC's own tutor responsibilities include providing mentorship for students' spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and character development.

Faith and Professional Life

Christian values at UATC are not separated from professional education. Students are encouraged to consider how values such as integrity, honesty, compassion, responsibility, excellence, and service should influence their future workplaces and communities.

A Community of Faith

Whatever programme a student pursues, UATC seeks to cultivate graduates who are not only professionally competent but also responsible, ethical, and prepared to serve others.
