Programme Overview

About this programme

The Certificate in Business Information Technology provides students with a practical foundation in both business and information technology. The programme develops skills in computer applications, business communication, basic programming, business mathematics, accounting, and computerized information systems. Students learn how technology can be applied to solve routine business problems and support day-to-day organizational operations. The programme prepares graduates for entry-level employment, self-employment, and progression to Diploma-level studies.

Admissions

Entry Requirements

  1. Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least four passes in relevant non-religious subjects; OR
  2. CSEE with at least two passes together with a Certificate of Competence Level III or Trade Test Grade I in ICT, Business or a related field; OR
  3. National Vocational Award Level III or an equivalent recognized qualification.

Admission is subject to applicable NACTVET and institutional admission regulations.
